Brick Bodies Fitness Services Inc., Timonium, Maryland, has announced plans to open a new co-ed studio in Baltimore's Belvedere Square.
Studio B Yoga and Barre is a 2,500-square-foot facility that is expected to open at the end of this month, according to a media release. The studio will be a separate brand from Brick Bodies and Lynne Brick's health clubs.
Studio B Yoga and Barre will be the company's first entrance into the boutique fitness studio space and will be located near the current Lynne Brick's location in Belvedere Square. Programming at the studio will include Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Heated Yoga, Barre, Heated Barre, Yoga-Barre Fusion, Pre-Natal Yoga, and Mommy and Me Yoga.
“We are very excited to enter the boutique fitness space,” Brick Bodies CEO Vicki Brick said in a statement. "With the growing popularity of Barre and over 80 million Americans expected to try yoga for the first time in 2016, we realized there was great opportunity to expand our offerings and help serve our community."
Studio B Yoga and Barre features overhead radiant heating panels, specialty lighting, a lobby, shower and bathrooms, and more than 35 classes per week. A single class is $15 for non-Brick Bodies members, with bi-weekly membership options at $40 or $70, and 10-class pack ($125) and 20-class pack options ($225) are available, according to the Studio B website. Current Brick Bodies members receive a discount on the membership pricing through June 15, and a 10-day free trial is currently being offered.
Brick Bodies Fitness Services Inc. owns and operates health clubs in the Baltimore area. The company has 27,000 members at its six locations in downtown Baltimore, Perry Hall, Reisterstown, Padonia, Belvedere Square and Owings Mills.
