After serving the community for 52 years, the YMCA of Florida's Emerald Coast, Destin, FL, announced it will cease operations of its three branches and programs on Friday.

After serving the community for 52 years, the YMCA of Florida's Emerald Coast, Destin, FL, announced it will cease operations of its three branches and programs on Friday.

The Y, which has branches in Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Crestview in Okaloosa County, FL, made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.

"This is a very difficult time for everyone associated with the YMCA of Florida's Emerald Coast," Colleen Mahn, chair of the Y's board of directors, said
