Food Label Regulations May Change

WASHINGTON, D.C. — To help consumers manage their weight, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is exploring ways to change food labeling regulations.

Some products are labeled as single servings, but the nutrition labels indicate that they're actually two or more servings. Because packages often don't show the total number of calories, consumers must multiply the calories and fat by the number of servings.
