2010 Club Industry Conference Opens

The conference portion of the 2010 Club Industry Conference and Exposition opened today with sessions in 13 tracks.

The seminars began at 9 a.m. this morning with topics ranging from money-saving design ideas to the science of circuit training to using the psychology of eating to rewire clients’ choices.

Sessions at 10:45 a.m. included topics such as a law and exercise safety update, membership retention, increasing revenue with small group training, encouraging clients in weight loss and new income streams.

In addition to the seminars, about 60 people participated in the luncheon roundtables today.

Exhibitors are busy in the exhibit hall assembling their booths for the opening of the exhibit hall tomorrow at 11 a.m. The hall will close at 6 p.m. tomorrow and be open again on Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This evening, attendees are invited to the opening reception at the House of Blues Chicago, starting at 5:30 p.m.
