Jawbone has filed three legal actions against competitor Fitbit in 2015.

Jawbone, San Francisco, and Fitbit, San Francisco, are makers of wearable devices that track fitness and lifestyle habits. The complaints were filed in May, June and July.

In the suit filed May 27, Jawbone alleges Fitbit hired Jawbone employees away from the company for the purpose of finding confidential information about Jawbone.

In the suit filed June 10, Jawbone filed a complaint essentially claiming Fitbit's products violate Jawbone patents.

In the suit filed July 7 with the United States International Trade Commission, Jawbone calls for an investigation into violations of the Tarriff Act of 1930 and seeks the forbidding of importation of Fitbit products that Jawbone claims violates its patents.
