Matrix Fitness Increases Global Sales by 19 percent in 2014

Global sales for Matrix Fitness grew 19 percent in 2014, and all regions that Matrix serves had double-digit increases over 2013. 

Matrix Fitness, Cottage Grove, WI, announced a 19 percent global sales growth rate for 2014. Matrix Fitness is the commercial fitness equipment brand of Johnson Health Tech Co. Ltd., a private company that does not release actual revenue figures.

All regions, including North America, South America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, experienced double-digit increases over last year, Mark Zabel, vice president of global marketing for Johnson Health Tech North America, said in a press release from the company.

"The momentum for the Matrix brand continues to build worldwide," he said. "Our continued investment in developing innovative products and expanding our global distribution has resulted in Matrix remaining the industry's fastest-growing commercial brand in the world."

Kent Stevens, executive vice president of commercial sales for Johnson Health Tech North America, attributed the growth to new products such as the 7xi console technology platform and its ClimbMill.

"We are pleased that our existing customer base continues to come back to us for repeat purchases and upgraded solutions because of the exemplary support and overall experience we provide," Stevens said.

Matrix's portfolio of products will grow with several product launches at the IHRSA trade show in Los Angeles next month. New offerings include the Connexus functional training series, Johnny G In-Trinity Board by Matrix, and several feature enhancements to the 7xi technology platform.
