Matrix Fitness, the commercial fitness equipment brand of Johnson Health Tech, Cottage Grove, WI, announced a 20.1 percent global growth in first quarter 2014 compared to the same period last year.
The company, which is private, did not provide revenue numbers in today's press release.
North American sales grew by more than 24 percent, and sales in Asia, Europe and South America were strong, according to the company.
"We've been able to attract new customers to the Matrix family with our breakthrough 7xi console technology and the industry's best ClimbMill solution," Kent Stevens, executive vice president of commercial sales for Johnson Health Tech North America, said in a statement. "We're also seeing our established customer base coming back for upgraded products and repeat purchases. The combination is creating great momentum in the market."
