Les Mills International Names Brian Gagne as U.S. CEO

Brian Gagne will succeed Jesper Magnusson, who led the reunification of the U.S. distribution during his tenure.

Les Mills International has named Brian Gagne as U.S. CEO effective July 25, according to a statement from the company.

Gagne will succeed Jesper Magnusson, who led the reunification of the U.S. distribution during his tenure. Gagne's background includes more than 20 years of health, fitness and wellness experience in corporate, commercial and medical fitness markets. He previously served as chief operating officer for more than five years at Health Fitness Corporation, which provides health management and corporate fitness solutions.

“We are excited to welcome Brian to the Les Mills team and look forward to insights and experience he will bring to our valued U.S. partners,” Keith Burnet, CEO, Les Mills International, said in the statement. “He brings a strong understanding of our industry and the leadership and vision to help lead the next phase of growth for our U.S. business.”

Les Mills International completed the reunification of U.S. distribution this year when it acquired the Les Mills Midwest agency from SCW Fitness Education in January and acquired the South Central territory from Fitmarc in March. Les Mills programs are sold and serviced throughout the United States through Les Mills U.S., Baltimore.

A formal announcement from Les Mills on Gagne's appointment is expected prior to July 25.
