Life Time's Akradi Encouraged by Improved Attrition Rate in Third Quarter

Attrition in third quarter 2014 improved for Life Time Fitness for the first time since fourth quarter 2011, Life Time founder and CEO Bahram Akradi told analysts on a conference call after the company released its financial results.

Life Time Fitness, Chanhassen, MN, had an increase in revenue while its net income remained flat in third quarter 2014, according to financials the company released last week.

Revenue in third quarter 2014 increased 6.6 percent to $336.8 million, up from $316 million
