Do You Care if Your Club Equipment Is Made in America?

This week, ABC News is airing a Made in America series in which it focuses on products made in America and how buying more U.S.-made products can help increase the number of manufacturing jobs in our country.

After World War II, only one in 10 products bought in the United States was made outside the country. Today, 50 percent are.

That made me wonder: Does it matter to you if the company from which you purchase your treadmill, elliptical, accessories or supplements makes its products in the United States? What if the company is based here but manufactures its products outside the country? And what if the company is based outside the United States but makes some of its products here?

Do you consider any of this when you purchase products for your facility, or are your purchases based solely on price and quality? Let us know your thoughts.
