There are now five Bally Total Fitness clubs remaining in operation after one Bally club in New York state closed last week and another club in Colorado rebranded.

The club in Greece, NY, a suburb of Rochester, closed on Dec. 30, two Rochester-area media outlets reported. Crews removed equipment from the club and took down signage, Time Warner Cable News reported. A notice on the door included a phone number from the Chicago-based company for members to call.

Club Industry placed a call to the Rochester club, and the phone number was disconnected. A Club Industry email to Bally President and CFO Steve Tucker was not immediately returned.

The Bally club in Colorado Springs, CO, is now Voretex Fitness. The club changed ownership on June 1 and began transitioning to the Voretex Fitness brand, an employee at the club told Club Industry on Monday. The rebranding completed last month, around the time 24 Hour Fitness completed its acquisition of 32 Bally clubs—including six clubs in the Denver area.

Club Industry made calls to the remaining five Bally clubs Monday, and all five clubs were open. Three of those clubs are in New York City, one is in Albany, NY, and one is in Syracuse, NY.
