Chris Brown Settles Suit Over Alleged Assault at 24 Hour Fitness

Chris Brown settled the lawsuit brought against him over an alleged assault during a basketball game in 2013.

R&B singer Chris Brown settled the lawsuit brought against him over an alleged assault during a basketball game at a Los Angeles 24 Hour Fitness in 2013.

Brown paid plaintiff Malcolm Ausbon less than four figures as a "nuisance payment" over the alleged incident, TMZ reports.

Ausbon claimed Brown and three others assaulted him during a pick-up game at the club.

The alleged incident is not the first time Brown has been linked to an alleged assault at a health club.

In 2009, photographer Robert Rosen claimed he was assaulted by one of Brown’s bodyguards after taking photos of Brown playing basketball at an LA Fitness.

That suit was settled in 2010 before going to trial.
